Lettering In Theatre
How can you letter in theatre at Oak Park? You must meet all of the following criteria in order to letter. Starting in the 2021-2022 school year, there will be a lettering application that will come out in the spring. These will need to be turned in by the due date listed on the application. Failure to turn in an application will result in no letter being awarded for the academic year. This includes seniors!
Lettering Requirements
Letter Applications are due before April 5th. You will NOT letter if you do not fill out an application or fill it out late!
- Earn 50+ thespian points (50, 100, 150, 200, etc.)
- Points may carry over from the previous 50
- Participation in 70% or more of all theatre activities
- Shows, outings, meetings, events, conference, etc.
- 2.5 GPA
- In "Good Standing" in the department
- Respectful, hard-working, good attitude, drama free, positive, dedicated

Honor Cords
Honor Cords are awarded at The Final Bow Awards Ceremony.
- Earn 100+ thespian points
- Earn 60+ thespian points AND be in Theatre IV as a senior
- Earn 80+ thespian points AND be in Theatre III as a senior

Senior Bricks
You will receive an email letting you know if you qualify to do a senior brick in late April.
- Earn 100+ thespian points to earn a brick
- Earn 60+ thespian points AND be in Theatre IV as a senior
- Earn 80+ thespian points AND be in Theatre III as a senior
- Every 100 points is 1 additional brick
- 100 = 1 Brick
- 60 & Theatre IV = 1 Brick
- 80 & Theatre II = 1 Brick
- 200 = 2 Bricks
- 300 = 3 Bricks
- 400 = 4 Bricks
- 100 = 1 Brick
You will receive an email letting you know if you qualify to do a senior brick in late April.
