Support Oak Park Theatre

Fundraising is always a challenge, and we desperately need your support! In addition to producing several expensive shows each year, we also take educational trips (Missouri State Thespian State Conference), and give a significant portion back our students for college scholarships. However, the money raised on a show often only allows us to "break even" and pay the bills. This doesn't leave enough for scholarships, trips, updating and repairing equipment, or investing in the future of our program. Giving financial assistance to the theatre is a wonderful way to positively impact students, Oak Park High School, and the community in Kansas City. All donations are tax deductible!

Education foundation:
Oak Park Theatre Scholarship

Beginning in the Spring of 2016 Oak Park Theatre partnered with the North Kansas City Schools Education Foundation to set up an annual theatre scholarship for our students who will continue their education in theatre after graduation. Donations may be made directly to the Education Foundation and will help us keep the scholarship funded all year while protecting our show budgets and activity funds. All donations are tax deductible!

HELP GET SUPPLIES & MATERIALS
FOR CLASS & SHOWS

Help us get supplies and materials that are desperately needed for theatre education through Donors' Choose. Some of these projects are long term needed, and others are short term. These tend to be oddball items that we need for our health or various needs for our tech programs. Visit Mr. Ashpaugh's page to view past and current projects and to donate to our need.

Show Sponsorship & partnerships

Want to sponsor a show? We are looking for creative ways to help pay for our shows and support local business! Our musical brings in several thousand people and our plays bring in several hundred people throughout the year. Being a show sponsor is a great way to support the community and expand your business presence.

Whether it's a single donation, covering our costume & set expenses, or helping us with the cost of printing, we will work with you to include your brand or advertisement in a full page color ad on all programs. Contact Director of Theatre, Matthew Ashpaugh, for more information about getting involved. (Matthew.Ashpaugh@NKCSchools.org)
