Hello everyone! This year has been filled with amazing opportunities than what we were initially intending for the school year. Like Hannah’s last post, Radium Girls was a success! But there are a lot of more opportunities soon!
Next week, we are holding our auditions for the musical Into the Woods. All applications are out! Be sure to check the tab for Into the Woods! There are THREE Google Forms you MUST FILL OUT so you can get a time slot! This is for safety and COVID regulations to keep our department safe! You will also find audition music, which there are two songs each for both male and female, the schedule for the entire musical, and also crew head applications! Crew applications will be out next week for anyone interested. Like everything else, things will be different for the auditioning process. Here are the different auditions for every day:
Monday- November 30th: Vocal Auditions in the Vocal Music Room
Tuesday- December 1st: Acting Auditions in the Main Auditorium
Wednesday- December 2nd: Choreography Auditions in the Main Auditorium
Thursday- December 3rd: Callbacks in the Vocal Music Room
Friday- December 4th: Cast and Crew Head List posted
Our next show is being held by our Theatre ¾ class! It is call 10 Ways to Survive A Zombie Apocalypse. It is a one act that is only 35 minutes long and will be used at the recruitment show for the middle schoolers from Antioch Middle School. It will be streamed on N2Sports. The play will air on December 17-19 at 7pm! I can’t wait to see what we will be able to do with this production and to see how many incoming Freshmen we will get next year! Everyone, keep up the fantastic work and dedication! There is a lot of success up our sleeves!

We have a new points sheet that is on a google doc that Hannah Butts created to make sure we all get a chance to get our points in! Hopefully this will be an easier process for us Thespians. If you keep track of your points, you will become an inducted Thespian Member of our troupe! Remember, it takes 15 points for you to become an inducted Thespian. You have to have a minimum of 1 acting point and 2 tech points! That’s all I have for this week! Don’t forget to keep your heads high up and keep working hard, whether that be in theatre or in your classes. Make sure you’re taking care of yourselves during this time because it has been a really difficult year. 2020 is crazy, so that is why I dyed my hair! Live your life the way you want to! Stay hopeful and strong. I love you all! Sincerely, Iz the Wiz |
