Hey guys! Izzy here! We are in the second week of One Acts! I am so ready to see everyone’s hard work at the end of April! All of the One Acts that ¾ students have written are uniquely amazing in their own ways. Lots of creativity and humor within everyone’s One Acts.

If you guys are not aware of how filming and the show is going to be streamed, here is the plan:
April 26-27th: Filming~ Times TBD
April 28-30th: Streaming on N2Sports
A more detailed schedule of when each One Act is going to be filmed!

Things are also hectic with having Kaleighan’s show happening! I have been working on lights for her show! It is coming along really well! This show is very deep and talks about hard topics. Everyone on has worked hard on this show, whether it be the actors, crews, stage managers, and director, it has come along well! The show will be streamed on April 24th at 7pm! We are all ready to show you the amazing story of Scars That Made Us!

Thespian Banquet is coming up really quick! Banquet will be held on May 7th to recognize all of our work throughout the year, highlighting every success we have had, despite dealing with a global pandemic! Banquet is my favorite time of the year, for the fact that the school year is ending, but also getting to find out everything that we are doing next year! From what our director Mr. Ashpaugh has told us, it is going to be a fantastic season. Of course, I still don’t know the shows, but we get to find out May 7th! So, make sure you attend the Banquet!

Thespian Board applications are due at the end of the week, the 16th at 3:00pm! On Tuesday the 20th, every person who has applied for board will have to make a speech about why they are a good fit for being on Thespian Board. It is also during the time of the Thespian meeting! Bring on your best leadership goals and skills! If you’re anxious, don’t be! We all are excited to see what everyone is bringing to the table! Don’t doubt! Stay Positive!
Thank you, guys, for all of your hard work! We are coming along amazingly as a department! All of you are special and needed here, don’t think that you aren’t. It is still a difficult time in our lives, but we can overcome that by being there for each other, no matter our differences! Everything will be okay! Remember to drink some water, take a couple deep breaths, go outside and enjoy the nice weather we have right now!

This is Izzy,
Make someone smile today!
